Remote Desktop Host (RDH) is a lightweight single-user Remote Desktop solution using the standard Microsoft Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). It is compatible with all versions of Windows 7, 8 and 10.
Unfortunately Microsoft has removed the Remote Desktop Host feature from the Windows Home/Starter/Basic editions. In order to access those Windows editions with any RDP client you have to install an alternative RDP Host solution like Thinstuff RDH (single user) or Thinstuff XP/VS Server (multiple concurrent users).
Because compatible Remote Desktop Connection client software is already preinstalled on most devices and operating systems, seamless integration into existing networks without any hardware or software changes is assured.

What else you should knowDifferent ways to establish connection:The remote connection could be established on LAN, WiFi or over the Internet (Broadband, Cellular network, etc). Connect to other PC using the following methods: - Computer ID Connection: enter your partner's ID and password to access your partner's computer (no need to create online account). - Online Account Connection: log into your Anyplace Control account and access remote PC using the PC name.
- IP-address Connection: classical method of connection via IP address.
IP address is not used in first two connection methods. No need to configure router or firewall for remote PC control.
What and where to run: Anyplace Control consists of two parts: - Host Module - needs to be executed on a remote computer (i.e. PC you will control remotely).
- Admin Module - Run it on your local computer you use to control a remote PC (e.g. your notebook).
